WERK IT! {Who Says You Can’t Look Cute at the Gym?}

Hello lovelies,

Its almost spring and  this “Polar Vortex” happening right now has me  dreaming of spring more and more! Today’s post is about outfits you can wear to workout in (and they channel spring hues!) Who says that those early morning runs or those weekly spin classes have to make us compromise our style for comfort? Nothing we wear has to be drab. There is no need to wear a ratty tee and paint-stained sweatpants to Saturday morning ZUMBA. We can dress feminine and comfortable and practical all at once! Each of my outfits is centered around a trendy, pastel, color (in the spirit of upcoming spring) and pieces that compliment wearing that color. So, here are some ways to style those pieces and catch some eyes at you’re 9:00 am yoga class!

1. Lemon Sorbet
This one is centered around pastel yellow, or as a Crayola crayon-namer would call it…Lemon Sorbet! This outfit features fun colors that compliment all skin tones, as well as comfortable options for any type of workout! Click on the links below the picture to find out where you can purchase these lovely items.
Side Note: The Williams-Sonoma water bottle (link below) has it’s own lemon press at the top so you can sip lemon water while you wear your lemon colored clothing. 🙂

2. Just Peachy!
Okay, okay, I know the name is super cheesy but it does match this brightly colored spring ensemble! These fun pieces will be all the rage…wherever you wear them!  I’m mildly obsessed with the lululemon floral jacket I added to this outfit! (and by “mildly” I mean not so mildly!) Mostly because it’s the perfect workout piece. It effortlessly pulls an outfit together with a fun print and vintage feel. Hello, Miss Fashionista at the gym! You’re sure to be an eye-catcher.

3. Pretty in Pink

This fun outfit is all about how to mix print in a way that works! I paired this fun adidas by Stella McCartney jacket with Nike leopard print running tights and neutral-white extras for an understated eye-catching effect. This printed outfit with bright spring pink is one of my favorites because it’s perfect for the girly girl who doesn’t mind some sweat.

4. Sweet Mint

This outfit was inspired by one of the hottest colors this spring, mint! Mint pairs so well with black and white print. It’s fresh, clean, and universally flattering on every skin tone and body shape. So again, I had to bring back the lululemon print from the first outfit but this time in a tank top and sports bra so it’s versatile! And, who doesn’t want soft lips when you’re sweating away? I added my absolute favorite lip balm, eos! It’s 100% organic and it works wonders…and how cute is that little egg?!

5. Stop and Smell the Roses

Okay, don’t hate me, I know these names are super cheesy!! But they go so well with the outfits, I couldn’t resist! This outfit features pieces from the adidas Originals collection! The fun floral prints makes these fun workout pieces go hand in hand with this spring’s hottest trends! I couldn’t resist putting them in an outfit that also featured fun pale pink colors!

And if just outfits weren’t enough, don’t you need a rocking, pumping, jamming, playlist for those killer treadmill runs? Well here is my go-to WERK IT playlist!
