Washington, D.C. & Georgetown Adventures!

As some you might know from my Instagram, last week I visited the always beautiful and historic, Washington, D.C. I went for college tour at Georgetown University and also stopped along the way to do some tourist-y things. I also visited The Lucky Knot which is the store I  rep for! I’ve been to D.C. many times but this time was by far my favorite! The campus is absolutely beautiful! While Georgetown is my number one pick for college, I was weary to find out there is no Greek life! (cough, cough future sorority sister!) However, it is an incredible school and town! While I was there I even got to sit in on a constitutional law class (what I’m planning on majoring in). Old Town Alexandria, Va. is also not far and was so quaint and charming!

I visited my favorite store (which I am a rep for) The Lucky Knot! The store is basically a preppy-girl heaven. its two floors of Sail to Sable dresses, Lilly Pulitzer accessories, Vineyard Vines, Southern Tide, and so much more! Use code “Emily” at theluckyknot.com for 15% off!

I also just had to share this adorable navy and pink house I found in Alexandria! I mean how perfect?!

What I Bought:

I didn’t go too crazy with spending on this trip but I did get some really cute items!

1. While at Georgetown I had to get some spirit wear so I bought a Georgetown University spirit jersey!

2. I also visited the Vineyard Vines in Georgetown and got the light pink nautical flags tee (Shown in The Lucky Knot picture above)

3. While at The Lucky Knot I got a pair of OKAb (Okabee) nautical flip flops and a Lucky Knot brand statement necklace!

Pictures of all of them will eventually make it to the instagram

Hope all of you are enjoying  your summer!

xoxo,

Emily
